Didn’t fit? What to do
- Use a recent colour photo on a light, preferably white background. Caps, hats and dark glasses are not accepted.
- Frame head and shoulders like a passport photo: the output is 200 pixels wide and 230 high, so a full-length picture becomes too small to recognise.
- A 200×230 photo is often smaller than 20 KB. The tool then adds filler bytes inside the JPEG to reach the minimum; the picture itself stays the same.
- The form also asks for a live photo taken with your webcam or phone. That one is captured on the portal, not uploaded from a file.
